Reservoir Dogs (1992) was directed by Quentin Tarantino.
It tells the story of the aftermath of a group of criminals after a jewelry heist goes wrong and they begin to turn on one another after they suspect an informant in their group.
The film is shot in a non-linear fashion, with more and more snippets of information being released as the film progresses. I think that this makes the film interesting. I'm not a huge fan of 'gangster movies' myself and so I found the gore excessive. However, I can see how the film is liked so much, as it is a well told, interesting way of telling a commonly told type of story.
Sally Menke edited the movie. She edits all of Quentin Tarantino's films. The non-linear structure of the film makes it more interesting to watch as new bits of information are always coming to light each time.
Overall, I would recommend the movie to others, but I probably wouldn't seek it out to watch myself again.
