Evaluation sub-committee
Stage
1: Planning grid. (made with reference to p.12 of
the handout booklet)
Aims
Why are we doing
the project?
|
Objectives
What specific
things do we want to achieve?
|
Measures
of success
How will we
identify success?
|
·
A chance to showcase student work.
·
A chance to gain experience in organising an event.
·
A chance to get the community involved with SIT Arts.
·
A chance to get to network and get some industry involvement for
ourselves.
|
·
We want to have attendance
numbers that are equal or greater than last year.
·
We would like to get
attendance from a diverse group of people (rather than it being only
students, some tutors, and the judges.)
·
We want entrants to feel like
they have had a chance to partake in something that could potentaily get them
known to industry proffesionals.
·
We want people to enjoy the
event, and to have found it entertaining.
|
·
If entrants report that they
felt the event had given them a chance to showcase their work, and had done
it well.
·
If sponsors believe the event
was well organinised and run, and they feel their brand was well advertised
to the point that they would consider re-sponsoring in future years.
·
If SIT admin and the
organisers believe that the event accurately represented the aim, and showed
them in a positive light.
·
If audience members enjoyed
the event and would consider returning in later years.
·
If the evidence collected at
the end shows that the audience attendance and overall opinion is on par with
(or better) than that of previous years.
·
How many people stay for the
duration of the night.
