I was introduced to dragonframe where I did some tests to see how everything worked. I really liked the onion skin ability of dragonframe because it helped to see how much movement was being made between frames. I played around with how different amounts of movement altered the speed of the clip. I also incorporated a live hand into the claymation to see how that worked seeing as in the short that my group will be making, there will be a live hand so it was interesting to see how tiring it was to hold my hand in the one position with minimal movements.
I liked to change the camera settings to see how it affected the lighting of the clip. I thought it was interesting to see the same picture look so different just by changing the settings a bit.
I also thought that the test pictures made possible by dragonframe was very handy as well as it meant that you had plenty of room for experimentation without having to discard everything you weren't really planning to use.
