BSA203 Planning Table

Evaluation sub-committee

Stage 1: Planning grid. (made with reference to p.12 of the handout booklet)

Aims
Why are we doing the project?
Objectives
What specific things do we want to achieve?
Measures of success
How will we identify success?
·         A chance to showcase student work.
·         A chance to gain experience in organising an event.
·         A chance to get the community involved with SIT Arts.
·         A chance to get to network and get some industry involvement for ourselves.
·         We want to have attendance numbers that are equal or greater than last year.
·         We would like to get attendance from a diverse group of people (rather than it being only students, some tutors, and the judges.)
·         We want entrants to feel like they have had a chance to partake in something that could potentaily get them known to industry proffesionals.
·         We want people to enjoy the event, and to have found it entertaining.
·         If entrants report that they felt the event had given them a chance to showcase their work, and had done it well.
·         If sponsors believe the event was well organinised and run, and they feel their brand was well advertised to the point that they would consider re-sponsoring in future years.
·         If SIT admin and the organisers believe that the event accurately represented the aim, and showed them in a positive light.
·         If audience members enjoyed the event and would consider returning in later years.
·         If the evidence collected at the end shows that the audience attendance and overall opinion is on par with (or better) than that of previous years.
·         How many people stay for the duration of the night.
