Loving Vincent is a 2017 animated film, animated entirely in the painting style of Vincent van Gogh. Each of the films frames are an oil painting on canvas. First, they cast actirs who looked simialar to the subjects in van Gogh's paintings. They shot them on greenscreen and then painted the backgrounds (van Gogh's paintings) to put in behind.
