1) Film
In 2008, a mayor from a town in Turkey named "Batman" threatened to sue Christopher Nolan, the director of The Dark Knight, and Warner bros. studios because he said that the name "Batman" was copyright infringement and the town had been called "Batman" before "Batman" had been called "Batman". He also tried to seek damages saying that since the release of the movie there was a spike in crime and suicide rates which he attributed to the film.
I can't find an outcome to the lawsuit so I am assuming that it was laughed out of court before it even got there.
2) Music
When John Fogerty left Creedence Clearwater Revival he had to sign away his rights to the songs that he had written. Fogerty then wrote an album under his own name which another bandmate from CCR said contained a song that was "defamation" plus he said that the song "The Old Man Down The Road" was a copy of "Run Through The Jungle".
John Fogerty had to play both songs in court and the jury said that although both songs were played in the same style, they weren't the same. The court dismissed the case.
Then Fogerty sued back for attorney fees and was granted restitution. He thought it was important that an artist should be able to carry on with their style after handing over their rights to the band.
In the deformation case, Fogerty changed the name of the song
