Late Shift (2016) is an interactive film created by Tobias Weber. The film is about choices and so, to push that idea further, the audience gets to make decisions in real time and that affects the outcome of the film. It's about an ordinary guy who ends up getting caught up in a criminal gang one night. I think it sounds like a cool idea, blending film and game. I think it would be fun to explore all of the different options. It sounds like a pretty ambitious idea, and I don't know if they pulled it off or not, but good on them and all. I think that, personally, I would prefer to watch the movie without the options because I think I would get a bit distracted by the options. I like to watch movies for escapism and if I had to pick options I think it would pull me out of the movie a bit. I would like to see it out of curiosity, but I'm not sure if I would want all movies to start having options because I think that hypothetically, if they did, once the novelty wore off, I...

Forgotten Silver is a 1995 mocumentary by Peter Jackson and Costa Botes about a fictional filmmaker who built a city to make a film. The film features famous film people and film critics talking about the director, Colin McKenzie. The film was first broadcast on TV and a lot of people thought it was a documentary, it was later revealed to be a hoax. I thought it was a good film.

The Circle is a 2018 short film, directed by Sheldon Schwartz, about a street artist and his son. The film was shot entirely on a DJI Inspire 2 drone, even the interior shots and close up dialogue shots. The circle is a nice film about a father and a son bonding over art during the great depression. By shooting the film on a drone it means that there are a lot of nice panning shots that can be done relatively easily. The moving camera meant the pacing was nice because it felt like something was always happening. I liked it.

In the meeting today myself and Daisy wrote up the "About Us" and "Aims" part of the proposal, which I typed up later and send to Sylvester. I am waiting for the script and concept art to be completed so myself and the other storyboarders can start storyboarding. In my head, storyboarding shouldn't take more than a week because there are four of us so it shouldn't take too long. I spent about 3 hours working on the proposal layout with Tim. I wrote up a draft for the media release and worked on the storyboards with Laura. I completed some of the linework and colouring on the storyboards. I went around the CBD, South City and to SIT Sound and Main Campus to put up some posters for the casting call. I also wrote up a thing about the crew for the website. Amelie is a 2001 french rom-com, directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet that follows the story of a young, introverted woman who tries to change the lives of those around her. The colour scheme is very striking and the filming techniques are also quite cool. The animation brings out the fantasy, magical elements in the plot making it seem more whimsical.  I liked it and found it funny.
